Brighter than the 60W equivalent version and sized appropriately. These are being used in my living room in the 3 spots for ceiling fan light bulbs. I upgraded from 3 x 60W equivalent White and Color Ambiance A19 bulbs to three of these 100W equivalent bulbs, and the room is much better lit now. No complaints. I do hope the Hue software suite improves its automation options and makes them more flexible - the app is off to a good start but could use some refinement and additional timing features with intensity settings on different Scene options - but the bulb itself is great.

I purchase these to work with my Hue Sync Box which I love for watching videos on our TV. I had Hue BR30 in the ceiling can fixtures originally, but went with LIFX because they are much brighter when the wife or others need real light to read, etc. With the Hue Sync, I wanted more than the strip around the TV and two BR30 washing the wall beside the TV, but lights overhead. They look a little weird in a can feature, but high watt BR30 are not out yet and I just don't look up much. On real white, they are very bright, If you go warm white, then they loose a lot of brightness, but not an issue for me. I like Hue because more reliable with Alexa and HomeKit. I liked LIFX for brightness, but reliability of connection sucks and I have a large Unify mesh network here, but in a can feature does not help.

great light, as always, I'm Hue through and through, but I thought I'd be able to tell the difference in brightness but can't really too much. That's probably just me or the room but that's my thought. If I could go back may have taken advantage of the 3 packs of the 'weaker' bulbs instead of paying the premium on the bright ones... with the colors on the difference isn't there, only when white and I hardly use white light so that may, um, color my perception
1600 lumen color and white bulbs are great!

I love my Hue bulbs (using them for more than a decade) but they never were bright enough for use in the Great Room and main hallways. These 1600 lumen (100 W) bulbs solve that problem. I now have 10 installed. They give me bright white light when I need it and delightful colors when I want them. I’m SO glad you finally make bulbs bright enough for my everyday use!

The lights are really nice and were easy to set up. I haven't had any issues with them. The only problem is it took atleast a week before I got shipping information and it took maybe 9-10 days before it arrived
Long bulb, but excellent at white only lumen.

These are pretty good. As others have stated only the white light is brighter, color is same lumen. Consider the extra length of this light if deciding to add to existing ceiling fixture.
Highly recommend for indoor/outdoor use

very nice bright lighting. I was scared to purchase thinking it wouldn't light up my backyard light, but it turned out brighter than the one I previously had. Nice job.

I gave this 100 watt Philips Hue multi color bulb as a Valentines Day gift for the bedroom. She LOVES it. What other gifting of a light bulb would get that reaction!?

Very good LED but remember that 1600 lumens is only for the white color. For other colors its 1100 lumens. Very misleading this isn't on the packaging.
Had to go one star because ZERO wasn't an option!

Did not get what I should have! Won't order from you again! It was YOUR promotion, buy TWO bulbs get one FREE! Box had only 2 bulbs in it!
