Beautiful ceiling lamp

finally got one after waiting for months to be in stock. Very nice constructed, easy to setup and easy to follow instructions. My unfortunately came in open box but all the materials where in there. It was nicely packed inside a soft cloth bag. The lamp itself is made of plastic but it's beautiful. It took me about 15 min to installed and that because I was having issues mounting the cover, it can be a little tricky if not positioned correctly. Once installed and lit that's were this lamp shines. The colour reproduction and the ambient shadow above the lamp are just amazing, that was the reason I made this purchase. Paring it with the hue hub was also a breeze. I installed this lamp in a walking close. This not my first hue light product and very satisfied with them. Overall I'm supper happy with this ceiling lamp, definitely worth the wait.

Arrived slightly dented, not much padding to speak of in the packaging. Installation was easy. The overall aesthetic of the light fixture is very simple but blends in much better than the oft-anotomically named one it was replacing. It provides a light that can get quite bright when you really turn it up, although I find myself wishing it could get just a tad bit dimmer at its lowest brightness. There’s a visible gap in the light where the light strip terminates and begins that is mostly obvious at lower brightnesses. This is a choice you will be uninformed as to the outcome of until you flip the circuit breaker back on. So, if you really care about the position I would take the time to line your light up exactly as you want it to deal with this asymmetry. It’s an overall solid first attempt at a design, and if you can overlook a little nitpick here or there it’s a recommend. If there were a future iteration I’d like to see uniform lighting, the option to suspend it slightly off the wall, and the ability to address the color of the direct light and ceiling-reflected light independently. Making the outer ring and cap removable and paintable would make this a solid 5-star must-consider.

It’s great. It works as well as the other lights we have already set and the light strip behind the tv. My only issue is that the light will power on and off with my hue light switch but it will not change the color as it does like our other lights do.

Easily added to existing Hue environment and paired with another light, controlled by a hue-compatible lutron dimmer switch. It's pretty nice!

Easy to install and add to the Hue app. Good looking, modern, light fixture. I bought 3 initially. Will buy more!

I waited months for the Infuse Ceiling Lamp to come in stock, and then when it did I excitedly jumped to purchase. Unfortunately, it arrived defective (the white ring that surrounds the lamp was oversized and loose, leaving a big, noticeable gap being the exterior ring and the light fixture. Worse, Hue has no solution for exchanges of defective product, so I have to go through the hassle of returning it and then waiting for the product to come back in stock AGAIN. Massive waste of time for a product I was SO excited to receive.
disappointing: poor brightness and cheap looks

I'm very disappointed with this light, it has three problems: 1. It is hard to mount on the ceiling cause is uses a "push and rotate mechanism" that is hard to align with the tabs. The base is very shallow and the light is close to the ceiling so it's hard to see what you're doing and needs to be done by feel. 2. the light is fairly directional, I wasn't expecting it to be THAT directional but I have all kinds of shadows in the corners of my room and the light that goes up to the ceiling doesn't really reflect enough to make up for it. 3. The plastic the light is made of is quite cheap looking. Bonus problem, it's actually much less bright than I expected for the specs. I previous had a 1000 lumens bulb in a single fixture with a lampshade and it felt as bright if not brighter than this lamp.

Works great, looks even better! I will say it was a little awkward installing it but I feel like that’s pretty standard for something of this shape and size.

Product arrived with two tiny screws loose inside. Discovered these were the screws that secure the control box inside of the light. The control unit was actually freely moving around inside banging around. Also found the light strip inside was not fully pressed on to the metal rail and had begun to curl. Thankfully product is easy to disassemble and I was able to remedy both of these issues, but for $250 it's pretty unacceptable.

The light itself is great. Easy to install, works well, bright enough, etc. But it loses at least one star (maybe even two) for the app. Hue once had an easy-to-use app that was re-written and is incredibly not intuitive. Truly, they should throw it out, hire new software engineers with experience with customer interface/UX and start over.
